For many purification plants and degasifiers, the vacuum pump package makes up as much as 25% – 30% of the price of the whole degassing system. Our HERING EOK Series of high vacuum oil purification plants can be configured with different vacuum packages to provide you with higher flexibility. The impact of choosing a less powerful vacuum pump package is typically reflected in the number of passes which are needed to achieve the desired oil parameters. In general, it is right to assume that the bigger the vacuum package, the lower the number of passes required to do the job – but also the higher the capital cost of the degasifier.
